Plagiarism is a very serious offense at BYU-Hawaii. The penalties for plagiarism are serious. Depending on the degree of violation, a student who plagiarizes may:
- Receive no credit for the plagiarized assignment
- Receive no credit for the course
- Be placed on probation
- Be suspended
